Lontong Darat is a must-try! This plate is pure comfort food. The lontong is soft and fresh, drenched generously in rich, thick peanut gravy that’s nutty, spicy, and deeply satisfying. The sambal adds a nice kick without overpowering the dish, while the sides — especially the crispy serunding and savoury toppings — bring great texture and balance. The rendang ayam is the highlight, tender and well-seasoned with deep, aromatic spices that pair perfectly with the creamy gravy. Every bite feels hearty, indulgent, and comforting. Simple ingredients done right — a truly authentic local favourite you shouldn’t miss.

5 star for variety of Johor inspired dishes. Laksa Johor 8/10. Satay ayam 6/10. Roti telur cheese 7/10, roti banjir with 2 half boiled eggs 8/10. Price a bit steep for breakfast. Coffee uses Muar 434, so it's good. Limited seatings but manageable.

One of my favorite places for breakfast. They serve the best breakfast in Bangi IMO. The place is quite crowded in the morning. There is plenty of parking nearby, but it is usually quite difficult to find parking near the restaurant in the morning. So get ready for a morning walk. Food prices are a bit expensive, but worth it. My favorite food are, Roti Canai, Roti Banjir Special, Soto, Bakso and Nasik Lemak (They use brasmati for nasi lemak).

Missing Johor? The infamous Kacang Pool? The i can assure you that this is the place to be. Only have tried the breakfast menu but trust me when I say this, the Kacang Pool is almost exactly like the one that I had in Johor. A must try for those missing the southern-most-state taste

A must for breakfast, their signature roti canai banjir special. Even my parents love it, as it it soft and chewable for older people. They had another branch at BBB Post Office. The restaurant also served delicious malay cuisine and kuih-muih. For your information, they serve varieties of roti canai all day long.

Opens very early daily to serve the breakfast crowd. Very busy restaurant, lots of selection. Simple to heavy. I went with roti banjir special - surprisingly fast service. Spacious and easy parking (pagi la).
